Extremism

Osama Bin Laden
Islamic Terrorist
There is nothing wrong with being strong in your religious faith. Indeed, it has inspired many people throughout history to do extraordinary things, even if they belittle themselves by crediting their good works to some imaginary friend. Unfortunately, it has also caused a few to do some unconscionable things, like on September 11, when Islamic fundamentalists hijacked four planes and… well, you know the story.

Scott Roeder
Christian Terrorist
But before we go rounding up each and every Muslim into a concentration camp, consider that Christianity has its share of terrorists as well. Look at Timothy McVeigh, Eric Robert Rudolf and Scott Roeder. They’re terrorists just like Bin Laden. The only difference is the body count. But whether it’s one or one million, murder is murder.
The only difference between an Islamic terrorist and a Christian terrorist is that the latter is easier to catch.
Faith is a good thing. But as with all good things, there is such a thing as too much of it.
