The History Channel needs to change its name. Where once I thrilled over accounts of events long past, they’ve gotten on this “end of the world” kick. All week they’ve been reveling in asteroid collisions, super-plagues, rapture and tribulation, and cosmic alignments that will bring about the end of life on earth as we know it.
