The Chorus has been busy busy busy lately getting ready for LifeSongs, our 2010 Spring Concert. The music seemed daunting to me at first: I would have to learn all of Naked Man, the new Michael Shaieb trilogy, and all the other songs we’re singing in Act II. It looked like I really had my work cut out for me to learn all this, but looks can be deceiving. It’s been remarkably easy, actually. We don’t sing a lot of words in most of Naked Man, and when we do it’s sometimes just ooh and ahh, plus a few doo-wop doo-doo-wop-bop’s thrown in to keep us on our toes.
